The past few days...

Last weekend I had to call poison control. Wallace ate rubber plant. He was in his high chair by the back door and he just reached out and grabbed the plant and took big bites out of the two leaves he could get to. He can heft his weight around to move his highchair if it's not locked. He has since got more rubber plant into his mouth....

Poison control said rubber plant is an irritant. He may get a belly ace and he will have a sore throat. He had a little cough but not bad.

On Saturday I saw 7 hummingbirds eating out of the same feeder at the same time.

When we got home we set up a bleaching barrel and we planted seeds in plug trays. I personally planted yellow sweet banana peppers, mild jalapenos, red cherry hot peppers, big rainbow tomatoes, marigolds, columbines, snapdragons, orange habanero peppers, moon and stars melon and orange flesh honeydew melon.  These are the starts that we will be selling to Tony's a really big farm stand on HW 70.

Our home garden is going to be outstanding!!!! Eggplants and tomatoes, melons, flowers, beans.... Ohhhh it is going to be great!!! I'm going to grow a ton of stuff to put up and pickle. I'm looking forward to canning my own soup and corn. I'm growing a red sweet corn!!  I want to put up pepperoncinis and tomatoes... Heirloom tomatoes!!!

Wallace has learned to wave! He started really doing it on Saturday.  Also, we can feel his newest tooth. It is his left tooth just next to his front tooth. It has looked like an angry canker sore for over a week and now you can feel just a tiny bit of hard tooth. Wallace is trying so hard to say hi when he is waving. It sounds kind of like hieeehhhaa.

He loves his Papa so much!!! At night he burrows his head under Dylan's back and crawls on top of his chest. It's so sweet and it has been keeping him off of me at night;)

We went to a penacostel church on Sunday that may not be for me. My friend Tiffany goes there with her family. The sermon was on the cross.... So I went into the nursery and let Wallace play with Mason, Tiffany's 14 month old son. It was good for Wallace to crawl around and play with toys. He is pretty bound to our tiny house out here. The weather has been rainy so he is in arms when were outside.

Today I made applesauce for the boy. We are almost out of food for him. On Sunday he ate nearly three jars of food. 1.5 jars of Papaya and then .75 of a jar of plum. He is such a good eater now!!!

We are nearly out of money this month so no more shopping. We have enough food to last us a few weeks do I'm not worried about that but we only have a few apples and one unripe mango for baby food. I have yam and broccoli, one plumb and one papaya in the freezer. I can always make him some carrots too. I love making his food!!!!

Dylan and I at Tahoe Joe's in December I am 35+ pounds lighter now!!!!!

I have been invited to a baby shower on the Delta King. It is a paddle-boat on the Sacramento River. I am looking forward to it! I am already thinking about what to make for this new little baby... I think I will make him some toys. Cousin Jessica and I are going to meet in Marysville and carpool together for the rest of the day. Cousin Gena is having a birthday get together the following day so Wallace and I will most likely sped the weekend down in Solano County with family.

Long Time Coming, Photo Bomb!!!

I have been so busy and I am sorry to say that I have neglected my blog. Since my last post Dylan has had major surgery on his tibula and we moved to Oroville.
Wallace crawls like lightning now! He eats food and pulls himself up onto furniture. He stands up against walls and has teethe. He has been teething now for months with only two teeth to show for it!

                       Lets see those teeth!!!!!!

Literally minets befor pulling out of Winters I found a fortune that read, “You will soon have the opportunity to improve your finances.”  And then this morning my tea bag told me that, "Grace brings contentment."  I am so thankful for the grace of God, for his plan for our lives and his timing.

Speaking of Grace.... Jessica Grace is 11 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!

Oroville has alredy proven itself to be an amazing opportunity for our family. There is land to be farmed, space to let Wallace roam and a real home for us.  We have been so blessed by the kindness of our Friends and Family throughout Dylan's accident and healing! I know that I can never repay all of the kindnesses I just hope that I will somehow be able to pay it forward.  Dylan did good bringing us here, he found us a place to call home, not just a place to stay.

Speaking of Dylan… He is doing great. PRAIS GOD!!!!  His surgery went better than expected and his surgen seems confedent that he will heal, so confident infact that he only gave Dylan one more refill on his pain meds. That is a big deal!! Dylan is walking well and his pain is less.

Window licker

On Feb 10th Wallace was bitten by a girl at Mommy and Me. We have not been back since. This bite took weeks to fade.

I make Wallace's baby food. It makes me really happy to know that Wallace is getting only the best food. This is a picture of him chewing the last bits of fruit off of a mango pit.

Before Dylan had his surgery on February 17th I gave my sweet Baloo Bunny to my friend Kelly and her Family. This is Wallace and Baloo with William and

Big Smiles!!!!

I'm going to toot my own horn here for a second or two. Since New Years I have lost over 35 pounds!!! Yay Me!!!!! I have been using My Fitness Pal, if anyone wants to be my friend my profile name is eamcmannis    I hope someone wants to do it with me.

My Easter Lilly has sprouted with what looks to me like two tiny sprouts. There is a funny story surrounding this plant. When we were living on Edwards street in Winters I used to Walk to church on Sundays. On Easter Sunday after service everyone was given an Easter lilly plant. So, I'm walking home with my plant, purse, bible and some kind of bread. I stopped and set everything down to readjust and then I squatted down to pick up all of my things. I lost my balance on the way up and I fell on my but.

This is a seed tray planted with carrots.
