October 15-17 BIG FUN!!

My Sweet cousin Jessica got married to Gus Murphy on Saturday October 15! The ceremony was beautiful, she looked stunning, her dress was fantastic, the reception was over the top and the food was delicious!

Jessica and Gus rented a photo booth for the reception and all of the guests had there photos taken and one copy of the pictures went into the guest book. The photo booth was so much fun! There were props like hats and boas and all kinds of glasses and wigs. I took pictures with lots of family. When I get around to scanning all the copies that I have I will post them on this blog.

When, "You may now kiss your bride," was said all of the guests blew noise makers. Wallace ate Dylan's and mine pretty quickly after the ceremony. I still have our malled noise makers and I have been blowing into them for Wallace, he thinks it's SO FUNNY!
Wallace and Aunt Jan. They have the same birthday.

Yesterday  my family had a picnic lunch at Silveyville Pumpkin & Christmas Tree Farm. We went through a hay maze that led us into a Christmas tree maze.  We took lots of photos of Wallace in the pumpkins and on a hay horse.

Silveyville had a bubble blowing station with a bunch of wild home made bubble wands like this one. Wallace was unimpressed.

New Photos!

On Saturday Wallace began to sit up on his own!

On Sunday Dylan and I had Wallace dedicated It was a beautiful day and I hope to have photos and even a video uploaded as soon as I receive them from everyone.

Yesterday Wallace and I went to the Sears in Fairfield and picked up our photos from our last session. I had a few good coupons so I used them yesterday. We got a free photo collage and I ordered two sheets of photos in two different poses for $12!
This baby is past cute!

On the Sears web site they have a photo gift section. There is a mug design with room for 15 photos on it. I think I want to put one together for Christmas presents. I want to look at ShutterFly as well and compare quality and price.

I chose this photo and the one below.
Wallace has begun to go to sleep around 9 pm. It has been so nice getting to bed before  12 am!
He still wakes up every few hours during the night but he is waking up earlier in the day so I am able to get more things done.

On Tuesday evening I went to a ceramics workshop on the U C Davis campus put on by the Art Science Fusion Program. It was in the Entomology department. I made a rabbit tile, it came out very nicely. I am kicking myself for not bringing my camera! They said that they need 190+ tiles so I, "can come back and rabbit away." Next week I will bring my camera and take photos of the new one and of the one I just made, It may be fired already. The workshop is free, If anyone wants to join me and hopefully my Mama I would love to work next to you!mail.jpg
I got a 5x7 and 4 wallets of each.

After we left Sears we went by Sam's shop and I made an appointment for next month to get some touch-ups on my left ankle. His shop is under construction and I am super excited to see it when it's all finished.

Wallace's Dedication

Wallace on his first day

This Sunday October the 9th at 12:30 pm we are going to be dedicating Wallace to the Lord. Church starts at 10 am for anyone who wants to attend service. I would LOVE to see everyone at Church!  The easiest way to get to the Church is to turn onto Second Street off of Grant. Grant is the street that you are on once you take the Winters exit on HW 5.

After we have fellowship we will head down to  Fishing Access #1 on Highway 128 in Winters. The link shows Access #3, #1 is about 9 miles  down Grant from HW 5 when you take the main Winters exit. If you choose to drive up to Winters on the back roads you would take a left onto HW 128 off of Pleasance Valley Rd.

I have made an arangement with Yolo County to pick up 10 parking passes and I will have them with me. Look for the red and white balloons on the right hand side of the road. The location has bathrooms and is completely handicap accessible.

Afterwards maybe we all could have lunch at the El Pueblo Meat Market. My Mama and I are going to go shopping after we eat for outfits to wear to Jessica and Gus' wedding.

Funny Funny Baby

Wallace on Saturday 10-1-11 on our walk
I started this post on Wednesday October 5th.

Since Wallace's Had his shots on Friday he has been acting sick. He has a cough and he is sneezing, he was running a fever and he was in general feeling lousy. Today he seems to be much better but his nose is still runny and he has a little cough. His sleep has been off, He woke up every hour last night to be changed and fed so needless to say I am a very groggy Mama today.

These are the first two tassels that I have ever made!
I am trying to organized my pantry with bags. We have a flower bag made out of an old flag and now we have a bag for beans and grains!

Cotton Babies came through for me and sent me 20 diapers. Now we have 38 diapers in all these colors and patterns. Bum Genus is coming out with some new colors and patterns soon that I am of corse interested in but I don't think we NEED any new diapers.

This morning I had a really good laugh at Wallace's expense. I had Wallace sitting up face to face on my bed with Marley. He was pulling her hair and they were having a great time when he sneezed a HUGE rope of booger and Marley happily licked it out of the air and sucked it out of his nose!
